Sarasota with the Armstrongs

Our post-Christmas festivities involved a family trip to Sarasota, FL.  It was a tough job, but someone had to do it!  We joined forces with the Armstrong family.

 

 

 

 

Ahoy mateys!  We set sail in search of pirate treasure (but were satisfied when we found a quiet beach and a good place to eat lunch).

We moored the boat and enjoyed a great lunch along the intercoastal waterway.

 

 

Gianni's nutritious lunch included French fries, mac 'n cheese, and chocolate lava cake...eaten simultaneously.

 

 

The Captain lets the First Mate drive the boat.

 

 

Jack performed his duty by manning the rails.

 

 

Sophia and Liliana spent much of their time ashore in the sand.

 

 

While Gianni spent his time in the air (thanks to Daddy).

Mommy and Daddy relax while the kids take the helm (watch out for that buoy).

Christmas in Georgia

 

We spent our first Christmas in Georgia!  We missed the snow (not really) but made due with the sunshine and 60 degree weather!

 

 

 

Mommy and the kids decorate the tree.  Liliana is somewhere around there, offering her assistance.
