Easter Week

This was a very busy week for John, Brenda and Sophia. On Monday, John flew to Japan with his Halsey Research Group from the Naval War College. While in Japan, the group traveled to Yokosuka to give briefings to the Commanders of Seventh Fleet, the Kitty Hawk Strike Group and Submarine Group Seven.

Sophia got up early on Monday to help Daddy pack and to say goodbye:



On Tuesday, Brenda and Sophia met up with their friends in the Newport Mom's Club. All the girls wore their Easter dresses and posed for a few pictures.

On Wednesday, Brenda and Sophia made a day trip down to Connecticut to visit with some friends and look at some houses that are for sale.

While in Mystic, Sophia got her first haircut at a beauty salon just for kids called Crew Cuts & Curls.

On Thursday, Brenda and Sophia had lunch at Applebees with our friend Jen Ha and her son Thomas.

"Sophia, I'm starving here!! How about a little drink from that bottle?"

"Here you go Thomas...just be sure to save me a little, please."

On Friday, Sophia got to meet the Easter Bunny for the first time.

On Friday evening, Brenda and Sophia made the trip to Brockton to stay with Nana, Papa, Grammy, Michael and Vincent.
