Gina came over for our monthly movie night. The kids decided to relieve her of some of her popcorn.
We headed to Stay and Play with Wanda and her granchildren, Luke and Emma Kate. That is when the party really got started!
The kids run into the back of the bus with their hoppity hops.
And there is Bus Driver Sophia.
Gianni did not quite get the concept of going DOWN the slide.
Michael and Vincent gave their "sit and spins" to Sophia and Gianni, who immediately mastered the skill.
The Family Readiness Group put together a Christmas party for the kids at Build-A-Bear workshop.
Sophia helps to stuff her teddy bear (Kisty is her name...no "r").
What's the hold-up? I am falling asleep waiting in line! (Sophia chose a Frosty the Snowman for Gianni...his name is Frosty).
Once the bears were built, the kids jumped on the Christmas Train for a few spins.
A few days later, Gianni and mommy stop for milk and donuts at Dunkies while Sophia toils away at school.
At last, Christmas day arrives...
Sophia and Gianni check out the toys that Santa brought for them. Santa also left a thank you note for the great cookies the kids left for him.
Gianni loves his submarine (in the background). It is just like Daddy's! However, his milk is still #1 in his heart.
Sophia gets a doll and horse...what fun.
The kids goof-off downstairs while they wait for Christmas dinner.
Gianni plays with, what is arguably his favorite Christmas gift, Handy Manny's musical tool box.
Vin, Sophia, Michael and RJ have fun with Mike's new DSI.
Sophia rides her new scooter in Nana's kitchen.
Now it is time for a pig pile on Papa.
After the Christmas weekend, Brenda and the kids headed to Lakeville, MA to visit the Parenteaus.
Lynne and Brenda pose in between meal courses.
Lynne, Greg, and Riley lounge in the family room.
Chase, Sophia, and Gianni dance to the music.
Once we were back home in Connecticut, the fun did not stop. Auntie Cherie, Michael, and Vincent visited for the week and we did lots of fun things. One of our stops was at the Dinosaur Place at Natures Art.
T-Rex was there to greet us.
The kids headed out on a scavenger hunt at the "Twelve Dinosaurs of Christmas."
Auntie Cherie and the kids pose in front of Twelve Singing T-Rexes.
Sophia and Gianni take a break in Santa's sleigh.
Gianni shares his presents with this friendly dino.
Sophia shows off the Christmas ornament she made.
Mike and Vin finish their ornaments and help Sophia.
Sophia used her new styling tools to "fix-up" Mommy's hair.
The kids got a wonderful surprise as two bikes showed up in the mail....from Daddy!!! After Mommy finally got them together, the kids did not care that there was a foot of snow on the ground.
And finally, Gianni shows us how to sit and spin, toddler style.
