Sophia Turns Four

Sophia celebrated her fourth birthday recently. She and Gianni wanted to make sure they were properly prepared for the event.





Sophia shows off her new Belle nightgown and rainboots. Unfortunately, we had to explain that this was not appropriate attire for the party.



Gianni seems to have gone to the same school of fashion as Sophia. Apparently he feels that pants are optional.



Once we have the partywear straightened out, we are headed off to Kangaroo Jac's.



Gianni checks out the first inflatable. He is a bit unsure. More on that later.

Daddy tries to entice Gianni to jump in dinosaur lake.

Gianni has decided that inflatables are not for him and he opts for the more traditional toddler entertainment.

The birthday girl dons her crown so she can be properly admired.

The kids begin the pizza feast.

Gianni looks for some extra birthday cake lying around.

Sophia opens her first birthday gift...score, lots of princess stuff!

Now everyone is interested in the gifts.

Meanwhile, Gianni had to be forcibly removed from the room because of bad behavior.

Mimi gets Sophia the dress that every little girl should have.

Finally, Gianni decides that he is brave enough for the slide...with a little help from Daddy (not pictured, but pushing Gianni's rear).

Sophia, Gianni, Connor, and Carter begin the obligatory poses.

Somehow, we manage to get the entire cast in one picture. What a fun day!
