Aunt Shelly's Visit and Brenda's Birthday

We got a surprise visit from Aunt Shelly in May (though she's been threatening, I mean promising, for months).

Sophia gets a ride from Aunt Shelly...what a freeloader. 

After an early morning flight, EVERYBODY is tired.

Now it is time to begin Brenda's birthday celebrations (yes, plural)

Next, we head to the Virginia Beach oceanfront to show Shelly the sights.

Actually, it was the monster truck rally at the beach...them there's some big trucks.

Happy Mothers' Day to Mommy!  Nothing like breakfast in bed, prepared by the kiddies.

Gianni wishes to partake in Mommy's breakfast (did I mention that breakfast consisted of leftover birthday cake?).

To celebrate Mothers' Day, John took the family out for a fantastic brunch on the water.  What a great day!
