The Spencers headed to Fernandina Beach, FL to hike the trails of Fort Clinch State Park...
If you look carefully at the sign, you will notice that there are alligators present. That seems to evoke different emotions in different members of the family.
Hark, what is it that Gianni spots?!
The family stops briefly for a quick pic, a very quick pic as there are alligators here too!
The big kids act like monkeys in the trees.
We make it through the jungle to the water and have a picnic on the beach.
The Spencer men enjoy the sunshine (well, most of them anyway).
OK, now the boy is happy!
Our next family excursion took us to Crooked River State Park right here in Saint Marys, GA.
Again, we managed to find the water.
Daddy, Gianni, and Liliana climb down to the beach.
Mommy and Marco stay put and just take pictures.
Liliana and Gianni look pretty tall!
We continue our hike on the Palmetto Trail.
Gianni spends time with a baby gator.
Marco and Mommy get to know a corn snake.
Look out Marco! There's a bear behind you.
Daddy and Marco take a short rest from all of our walking.
And finally, we get to share some ice cream...a great reward for our exploration.
