Goodbye Massachusetts - Hello Virginia!

Alas, our time in Massachusetts had to come to an end.  We loved being close to family and meeting new friends in MA, but the Navy told us it was time to move.

Sophia says good-bye to Mrs. Portlock on her last day of kindergarten.  What a great year Sophia had!

Next we head to Cambridge for John's last day of school.  With a sad face, he cleared out his desk and left Harvard.

After Liliana arrived, I was visited by my CT friends for a baby shower.

Beth and Maria join in the shower fun, hosted by my neighbor and good friend Kerri.

Before we leave MA, we get to celebrate Papa's birthday and Fathers' Day.

Gianni and Daddy play ball on our last visit to Brockton!

Papa opens his present...a t-shirt from an Italian submarine (the kind you sail in, not the kind you eat).

The Spencer kids hang with the Schools kids one last time.

Brenda and Kerri hug good-bye.

We pose proudly in front of our lovingly cultivated garden.

And here we are in VA, celebrating our nation's independence as we move into the new house.

Even Liliana shared in the festivities.
